The taxi hailing business in Africa most especially Nigeria, has just received a boost with the introduction and official launch of “T-CAB” by Syrax Technologies a Nigerian based Tech company. T-CAB RIDES is the first taxi hailing mobile application (App) service that allows passengers (riders) negotiate/bargain fares with partner drivers. All negotiations are done In-App before embarking on the trip. “This is truly a technologically driven solution to a lot of problems we encounter using some other platforms” according to a driver, Mr Sunday Ajayi who now uses T-CAB. Partner drivers do not need to share a large chunk of profit they make but only pay a token of N5,500 (Five Thousand, Five Hundred ) Naira monthly to remain visible on the platform.
